The contact surfaces are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have BOMSTAD, a coated fabric that has a similar look and feel to leather.

The seat cushion molds precisely to your body and regains its smooth surface when you get up because it has a top layer of memory foam.

The unique thing about memory foam is that it molds softly to the contours of your body. That relieves pressure and allows you to sit for as long as you like and be comfortable and relaxed. And when you get up, memory foam regains its shape again.

Every detail of the KIVIK sofa series is adapted to give you maximum comfort. The seat cushions mold exactly to your body - and the chaise lounge you can use either as an add-on unit to the sofa or on its own. Choose the way you find most comfortable.

Clean with a dust cloth or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Protect from direct sunlight to prevent drying out.

Since 2015, all leather, cowhides, sheep- and goatskins at IKEA are chrome-free. Chrome can be very toxic for people in the production and for the environment, which is why we use alternative substances.
